More information will be shared as you read along. Here we go!

WWE
Last Thursday before Over the Limit PPV, WWE has announced that starting on July 23rd, Monday Night Raw will go 3 hours. This will coincide with the 1000th episode coming up. Now onto the PPV, the main event was between John Cena vs John Laurinaitis. Here are the results:

  • Kane def Zack Ryder
Before the PPV went on the air, a battle royal was announced where the winner of the battle royal would either face Cody Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship or Santino Marella for the United States Championship. The entrances were aired for the commentators for the PPV, as Matt Striker and Josh Matthews stepped aside for Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler, and Booker T to do commentary. Once the PPV commentators sat down, the entrances were aired for the Battle Royal participants. The participants of the battle royal were David Otunga, Tyson Kidd, Alex Riley, The Usos, William Regal, The Great Khali, Heath Slater, Titus O'Neill, Darren Young, Ezekiel Jackson, Jinder Mahal, Tyler Reks, Curt Hawkins, Drew McIntyre, Michael McGillicutty, JTG, Yoshi Tatsu, The Miz, and Christian. During a backstage segment, Cody Rhodes talked trash against Christian, which Christian overheard. He then decided to change his mind and challenge for the Intercontinental Championship. This would lead to...

  • Ryback def Camacho
  • John Laurinaitis def John Cena (due to interference from the "recently fired" Big Show)*
*- the stipulation was that had Laurinaitis lost the match, he would be terminated.

Impact Wrestling
On the same day WWE announced that Monday Night Raw will go 3 hours, TNA President Dixie Carter announced via Twitter that starting May 31st, Impact Wrestling will go live starting at 8 PM every Thursday throughout the summer.

Bellator
Bellator 69 took place last Friday. Here are the results from the main card:
  • Mark Holata def Abe Wagner via submission at Round 1
  • Jessica Aguilar def Megumi Fuji via unanimous decision
  • Karl Amoussou def David Rickels via split decision to advance to the Welterwight Tournament Final
  • Maiquel Falcao def Andreas Spang via unanimous decision to win the Bellator Season 6 Middleweight Tournament
It was announced by Bjorn Rebney that Maiquel Falcao and Alexander Shlemenko will face off to determine the NEW Bellator Middleweight Champion at a later date. The Middleweight title was vacated, due to Hector Lombard departing for the UFC.

Here are the highlights:

MLB
This past weekend was Interleague weekend, as the Yankees hosted the Cincinatti Reds and won only the first game, but fell short the remaining 2 games. The Mets would travel to Toronto to face the Blue Jays. Jays won the 1st 2 games, but the Mets won yesterday to avoid a sweep. Also, the two Chicago baseball teams faced off in the Crosstown Classic, which the White Sox came out on top and swept the Cubs at Wrigley.

This week, the Yankees will host the Kansas City Royals before heading out for the West Coast tour on Thursday. The Mets will face the Pittsburgh Pirates from today to Wednesday, then will return to Queens to host the San Diego Padres in a 4 game series, starting Thursday.

That's all I have to say for now. Have a good week!
