10/5/2012- MLB Postseason Coverage, preview of NFL Week 5, more

Hello everyone! I hope all of you had a great week! As you may know, the MLB Postseason is underway. Here we go!

MLB
In the final 3 days of the 2012 MLB Season, the Yankees hosted the Boston Red Sox to close the season, and swept them not only giving the Yankees a sweeping win over the Red Sox in 2012, but a AL East Division Championship win. Meanwhile for the Mets, they lose the 1st 2 games to the Miami Marlins, but avoid a sweep and get the final win of the season, closing out the season with a 74-88 record.

Now that the regular season is over, it's time for the 2012 MLB Postseason Coverage. Which means you will be hearing this theme on TV.

With that being said: here are the 2012 Postseason Rankings:

National League

1. Washington Nationals (98-64, NL East Champions)
2. Cincinnati Reds (97-65, NL Central Champions)
3. San Francisco Giants (94-68, NL West Champions)
4. Atlanta Braves (94-68, Wild Card #1)
5. St. Louis Cardinals (88-74, Wild Card #2)

American League

1. New York Yankees (95-67, AL East Champions)
2. Oakland Athletics (94-68, AL West Champions)
3. Detroit Tigers (88-74, AL Central Champions)
4. Texas Rangers (93-69, Wild Card #1)
5. Baltimore Orioles (93-69, Wild Card #2)

The Braves and Cardinals are currently facing off in the 1st Wild Card game as of now, while the Orioles and Rangers will face off around 8:30 PM. Both games air on TBS. Whoever wins the Braves/Cardinals game will face the Washington Nationals, while the Orioles/Rangers game winner will face the Yankees. However, there are some games that are definite.

NFL
The New York Giants will host the Cleveland Browns this Sunday in an inter conference matchup. The game will air on CBS at 1 PM. The following night, the New York Jets will host the Houston Texans on Monday Night Football on ESPN.

MMA
Tonight, Bellator 75 will take place as well as UFC on FX 5. Bellator 75 will air on MTV 2 and EPIX HD, while UFC on FX will air on FX (and Fox Deportes for Espanol)
