11/30/2012- preview of NY Jets and NY Giants, No Shave November comes to an end, more

Hello everyone! I hope all of you had a nice week. I did as November is coming to an end. As you may know, this month was "No Shave November", which meant that any guy who participated did not shave their face for an entire month to raise awareness on prostate cancer. I for one, have participated in No Shave November and survived an entire month. More will be shared as you read along. Here we go!

NFL
This Sunday after the "rear-end fumble of doom" game that happened on Thanksgiving night, the New York Jets hope to move on and attempt to get a win against the Arizona Cardinals. Even though the Jets remaining 5 games are teams that are below the .500 mark, my expectations are very low for this game.

The following night, the New York Giants will be on the road to face the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football on ESPN.

MMA
Tonight is Bellator 82 where the main event tonight is Lyman Good vs Andrey Koreshkov in the Welterweight Tournament Final.

Outside of Sports
As I mentioned earlier about No Shave November, there are other names about it such as Beardvember, Novembeard, Noshember, or a similar variation called Movember where it's moustache only. Now, it's not just guys who participate in this, as some women have participated by not waxing/shaving their legs during that month or promote the cause via donations, and spreading the word. You can get more info on this link: http://www.noshember.com/pages/home.php

Here's proof of me growing the beard during No-Shave November:

Also, here are notable people who participated in a similar variation called Movember:

Photo above: Trish Stratus, Former WWE Diva (Don't freak out people, this is just photoshopped. The moustache is computerized for the photo, but the cause is real)

The good news is that tomorrow is December so that means No Shave November ends and Clean Shave December begins tomorrow. And with that, I leave you with a message. Check your prostates people, as I will ASAP. Have a good weekend!

11/19/2012- WWE Survivor Series results, UFC 154 results, New York Jets def St. Louis Rams, more

Hello everyone! I hope all of you had a great weekend as I sure did. Let's cut to the chase shall we. Here we go!

NFL
After a long time, I'm officially saying that the New York Jets finally get a win after a 3 game losing streak. Early on, the Jets had a hiccup, but as things went on, the team got their groove on to win the game in that interconference matchup. Here are the highlights:

All I can say is "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!". However, the team will be on short rest as they will play against the New England Patriots at home in a primetime matchup on NBC this Thanksgiving Thursday night. Therefore, I won't be celebrating for too long. Other Thanksgiving games include the Detroit Lions hosting the Houston Texans in the early game on CBS, and the Dallas Cowboys hosting division rival Washington Redskins in the late game on FOX.

11/16/2012- I'm back after a long absence

Hello everyone. I'm back after a very long absence. The reasons why I was absent was mainly due to school work taking over a lot of my free time. Other reasons include me being sad that the Yankees lost the ALCS, Hurricane Sandy (which I was planning to make a comeback before Sandy hit, making my return delayed), and somewhat forgetting that I have the @NYCKNP Blog. I'm back and you already know that the New York Jets are crapping the bed. At least professional wrestling and mixed martial arts will keep me happy as they won't break my heart. I'll make an attempt to make a full blog on Monday (I can't promise anything) since I'll have full material by that time. Until then, stay tuned.
