Hello everyone. I hope everyone has had a great weekend. This weekend was a depressing weekend for New York sports fans as the Giants fell to Seattle in the last few minutes of the game at home, while the Jets had their 3rd straight loss overall. Here are all the info that occurred over the weekend.
MLB
The Division Series has now concluded, and the teams that were eliminated were the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays, Philadelphia Phillies, and the Arizona Diamondbacks. The final four remaining in the postseason are Detroit vs Texas and Milwaukee vs St. Louis. The ALCS began on Saturday Night with Detroit heading to Texas in a losing effort, giving Rangers a 1 game lead. One note was former Red Sox manager Terry Francona filled in for an absent Tim McCarver on commentary. A 2nd game of the ALCS was set to occur, but was postponed to today. In the NLCS picture, the Milwaukee Brewers defeated the St. Louis Cardinals in the 1st game, giving them the 1 game lead. Here is the rest of the schedule:

Yesterday was a depressing day for both Giants and Jets fans as the two teams lost. The Giants fell to the Seahawks in the last few minutes of the game due to Seattle intercepting a ball from Eli Manning. Here are the highlights from the Giants game:
Later in the day, the Jets faced the New England Patriots in a losing effort. However, one notable thing was the Jets offense slightly improved compared to last week, but it still failed against the Patriots.
College Football
This weekend was a historic weekend in College Football as Oklahoma blew out the Texas Longhorns in 55-17 at the Cotton Bowl Classic, Rutgers got an upset victory against Pittsburgh 34-10, Notre Dame def Air Force 59-33, and Kean def Buffalo State 34-27.
UFC
UFC 136 is now in the books as the longest PPV event of UFC history Overall, there were 11 fights on the card. 4 were streamed on Facebook, 2 were televised on Spike, while the rest aired on PPV. Here are the results from the event:
