9/9/2013- NY Jets def. Tampa Bay, Cowboys def. NY Giants, Red Sox def. Yankees 3 out of 4, Indians def. Mets 2 out of 3, more

Hello everyone! I hope all of you had a great weekend, and as you all know Football is Back! Let's cut to the chase, shall we? Here we go!

MLB

Over the weekend, the Yankees hosted the Boston Red Sox in a 4 game set. The Yankees lost the 1st 2 games when the bullpen blew the lead, and the 3rd game was lost due to David Huff giving up a lot of runs. The Yankees attempted a comeback on Saturday, but it wasn't meant to be. However, the Yankees managed to avoid a sweep when in the bottom of the 9th, the score was tied 3-3. Boston's reliever Workman pitched a wild pitch and Ichiro Suzuki capitalized the opportunity and scored at home. Overall, the Yankees looked terrible in the series against the Red Sox, but at the end it's better to get an ugly win over a pretty loss.

Meanwhile for the Mets, they were in Cleveland to face the Indians in a 3 game set. The Indians won the 1st 2 games, but managed to avoid a sweep on Sunday.

Tonight, the Yankees will be on the road facing Baltimore in a 4 game set, while the Mets will be hosting the Washington Nationals in a 4 game set.
